317L Stainless Steel pipe
is a molybdenum bearing, low carbon content "L" grade austenitic stainless steel that provides improved corrosion resistance over 304L and 316L stainless steels. T-317L tubes & SS 317L Tubing with .03% maximum carbon content is used to restrict carbide precipitation during welding and in applications where maximum corrosion resistance is required. In fact, for small quantities, 317l Seamless Pipe is frequently available in India, UK & UAE. 317l Stainless Steel Tubing are suitable to use where additonal weld metal corrosion resistance, including pitting resistance, is required. Due to its low carbon content, 317l Stainless Steel Tube also provides resistance to sensitization when welded and higher creep, stress to rupture, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.
