316
316 Stainless Steel pipe
is the second-most common stainless steel next to 304. 316 Tubing generally contains 16% chromium and 10% nickel, with the addition of molybdenum normally ranging from 2-3%. Molybdenum increases corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and other industrial solvents. While there may be a difference between the chemical compositions of ASTM A312 TP316 Pipe and 304, their mechanical properties are similar. 316 Rectangular tubing is commonly used in many industrial applications involving processing chemicals, as well as high-saline environments such as coastal regions and outdoor areas where de-icing salts are common. Due to its non-reactive qualities, SS 316 Tube is also used in the manufacture of medical surgical instruments.
What We Can Offer ?
