904L
904L (UNS N08904) Stainless Steel Coil
is a superaustenitic stainless steel that is designed for moderate to high corrosion resistance in a wide range of process environments. The combination of high chromium and nickel content, coupled with additions of molybdenum and copper, assure good to excellent corrosion resistance.
With its highly alloyed chemistry — 25% nickel and 4.5% molybdenum, 904L provides good chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance, pitting and general corrosion resistance superior to 316L and 317L molybdenum enhanced stainless steels.
Alloy 904L was originally developed to withstand environments containing dilute sulfuric acid. It also offers good resistance to other inorganic acids such as hot phosphoric acid as well as most organic acids.

NO.3 | Polished with abra sive belt of grit #100#120,have bet ter bright ness with dis con tin u ous coarsestria, used as in ner and ex ter nal or na ments for building, elec tri cal ap pli anc es and kitchen uten sils etc. |
NO.4 | Polished with abrasive belt of grit #150#180, have better brightness with discontinuous coarse stria, but thinner than NO.3, are used as bathtud buildinginner and external ornaments electrical appliances, kitchen utensils and food processing equipment etc. |
#320 | Polished with abrasive belt of grit #320, have better brightness with discontinuous coarse stria,but thinner NO.3, are used as bathtub building inner and external ornaments electrical appliances kitchen utensils and food lprocessing equipment etc. |
HL | Polished with abrasive belt of grit #150-320 on the No.4 finish and has continuous streaks,mainly used as building ornaments, elevators, door of building, frontal plate etc. |
