446 stainless steel bar
is a ferritic stainless steel alloy melted as AOD. This alloy is non-hardenable but has excellent corrosion resistance at very higher temperatures and possesses good mechanical properties. This grade has poor ductility due to the high chromium content (roughly 25wt%).
